These terms set out the basis on which we sell wing mirrors and related parts through this website. We've kept them as plain-spoken as we can — if anything still reads as legal soup, ring us on 0800 123 4567 and we'll talk you through it.
About these terms
This website is operated by OEM Quality Wing Mirrors Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By placing an order, creating an account or simply browsing our pages, you agree to be bound by the terms below together with our privacy policy and our cookie notice.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service, legal obligations or operating practices. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the date you placed it. Material changes will be flagged with a banner at the top of this page for at least 30 days after they take effect.
Using our website
You're welcome to use our website to browse our product range, look up fitment information for your vehicle and place orders. In return we ask that you don't try to interfere with how the site runs, attempt to gain unauthorised access to areas not intended for public use, or use automated scrapers to harvest content.
If you create an account with us, you're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for any orders placed through that account. Please contact us straight away if you think someone else has used your account without permission.
Our content
The text, photography, fitment diagrams, comparison tables and original guides published on this site belong to us or to our content partners. You're welcome to share short quotes or single images with a credit and a link back, but please don't republish whole pages or build derivative product listings using our material.
Placing an order
When you submit an order through our checkout, you're making us an offer to buy the items in your basket. The contract between us is formed when we send you an order confirmation email — not when payment is taken or when the order is acknowledged on screen.
Occasionally we may decline an order. This is rare, but it can happen if:
- An item turns out to be out of stock after the on-page count went stale
- A pricing or product description error has slipped through that we cannot honour in good faith
- We can't verify the cardholder address or the delivery address looks high-risk
- The order appears to be for trade resale and we haven't agreed wholesale terms with you
If we decline, we'll let you know within one working day and refund any payment taken in full.
Prices, VAT and payment
All prices on the website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate. Delivery charges, where applicable, are calculated and shown clearly at checkout before you commit to pay.
We accept payment by all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed through Stripe, as well as PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported by your device. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
If we discover a genuine pricing error — for example a glass listed at £2.99 when the correct price is £29.99 — we'll contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the corrected price or cancelling for a full refund.
Delivery
We dispatch from our Birmingham warehouse Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are normally picked and shipped the same afternoon. Full courier options, costs and timing windows are listed on our delivery information page.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the courier delivers them to the address you supplied. If a signature is required and no one is available, the courier will follow their own process for re-delivery or collection from a depot.
We are not responsible for delays caused by extreme weather, courier strike action, customs hold-ups on non-mainland addresses, or incorrect address details supplied at checkout.
Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a standard online order within 14 calendar days of receiving it, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send us a clear message stating that you wish to cancel before the 14-day window expires.
Once you've told us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. We'll refund the original purchase price (including standard outbound delivery, where applicable) within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
Exceptions to the right to cancel
The cooling-off right does not apply to:
- Mirrors or glass that have been custom-cut, custom-tinted or sourced specifically to your order
- Items where the protective seal has been broken on a sealed pack and the goods have been fitted to a vehicle
- Bespoke wiring looms made up to a vehicle-specific spec at your request
Returns and refunds
Whether you're using the 14-day cooling-off right or our extended 60-day goodwill returns window, the goods need to come back to us in resalable condition: unfitted, undamaged, with all original packaging intact and any peel-off adhesive films still in place. Full step-by-step instructions are on our returns page.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5 working days of the returned goods being received and inspected. We do not charge a restocking fee on standard returns.
Faulty goods and your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something goes wrong within 30 days of delivery, you have the right to reject the item for a full refund. Between 30 days and six months, you can ask for a repair, replacement or refund.
Most of our products also carry a two-year manufacturer-backed warranty against premature failure — that is a contractual benefit on top of your statutory rights, not a replacement for them.
Our liability
Our total liability to you under any single order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods supplied under that order, except where the law does not permit us to limit liability — for example for personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other matter for which excluding liability would be unlawful.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of vehicle use, hire car costs, missed appointments or lost income arising from a fault in goods we supply, nor for fitting costs at a third-party garage.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We always prefer to resolve complaints directly — please give our customer-service team a chance to put things right first by emailing help@oemquality-wingmirrors.co.uk.
